I just framed this painting late last night. As I said at an earlier time, I am getting ready for a show this coming Saturday. Grenville and Beatrice will be at the show also. Grenville with his wonderful wood turning designs and Beatrice with her photos set into matting and the backboard to be framed. 

I wish was able to take better photos of my paintings. They just do not look that good in a photo. That is why you do not see the matting and the frame. Hope you like what you see.  Wish me luck for Saturday for my sales.

"Autumn Light" - Sold Last Week

My new year is starting off on a great note.  My "Autumn Light" was the first painting sold this year. The painting has been shown at the Hermitage (A Senior Citizens) home.  A lovely place for Senior Citizens that need a certain amount of help in their living quarters.  The Eastern Shore Art League members will be volunteering to teach art projects to the citizens of the Hermitage each week. We are excited about it and so are the tenants of the Hermitage.

The two flower paintings are going into 8" x 10" frames.  The winter scene will be put into a 20" x 25" frame with a 3" matting around the painting.

All three paintings are done in watercolor. I hope you enjoy them.

I changed the name of the painting, as you can see.  The other one was too long. I would like to thank Beatrice for allowing me to paint from the photo that she sent to me. I apologize for the photo of the painting. Please believe me, it looks better in person. I do believe it turned out better than the one I put on the blog previously.

Finally Got My Cannon Lense For My Canon Rebel IT1 Camera

Hi Everyone,
I finally got my lens for my camera. I am so excited. I took some photos from my dinning room window of the bird at our bird feeder. I will attached some of the photos.  They will be in one of my paintings soon.
