My artwork is original. The photos that my husband and I have taken through the years has become my library for my artwork. At times I do plein-air, but I will still take photos of the place or object I am painting.

- I am a mother of 7 children, 10 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. I am happily married to a wonderful person who is my soul mate and friend. I am the oldest of 6 children. All our families are very close and support each other in whatever we may endeavor to do. I am retired and have become an artist. Yeah!!!!! I am an optomist, and believe you can do anything you want to do, if you are willing to work hard to accomplish your goal. I think people should look for the goodness in a person. I believe a smile is contagious and can brighten your spirit and brighten your day. Also, I believe a person who wakes up with a smile, and has happiness and joy in his/her heart will radiate that happiness and joy to others.
Hi Marty, good luck on the change in focus for your blog. It would be nice if the blog title reflected the fact you you are an artist. Unfortunate that you can't change the blog name once it's created...but would have to set up an entirely new blog. I am trying to work on one just for photography and have much more reading and figuring out to do :-(
